Prince Albert of Monaco recognizes a girl as daughter
21.09.2006
Paparazzi descended on St.Margaret's Episcopal School in June to catch a glimpse of an eighth-grade girl named
Jazmin Grace Grimaldi.
Jazmin's mother, Palm Desert resident and former waitress Tamara Jean Rotolo, had claimed for years that
Prince Albert II of Monaco fathered Jazmin, now 14, during a brief affair Rotolo had with the prince
while vacationing near Monaco in July 1991.
The ruling prince of Monaco confirmed the affair and said he wants "relations to be as good as they can be"
with Jazmin and another child he admitted fathering out of wedlock.
The other child is Alexandre, a 3-year-old boy in Togo.
Because both Jazmin and Alexandre were born out of wedlock, they are ineligible to take the throne of Monaco.

The Golden Foot Award
21.08.2006
Each year, Monaco-based Worlds Champions Club cosponsors "The Golden Foot Award"
"The Golden Foot award is an international award to the career only for at
least 29-year-old football players, who stand out for their sport results
(both as single players and with their team), for their personality and for the esteem of the public
and football experts. The winner is chosen out of a ten nominees list decided by a jury consisting of
the Golden Foot media partners representatives and of the fans from all over the world who give their
preferential vote through the official site. The peculiarity of this award is that the winner leaves a
permanent mould of his footprints on "The Champions Promenade", a sort of "Walk of Fame" of the international
football on the seafront of the Principality of Monaco. Therefore, a football player can win the Golden Foot
award only once. The 2006 Golden Foot event will take place on 28 August 2006."
