The contest was on 9th October, a night for unnatural attractiveness and unusual beauties. Contestants flashed nose jobs, face lifts and breast implants as Miss Plastic Hungary 2009 struggled to endorse the advantages of plastic surgery in a country where simulated augmentations are observed mostly with a cautious eye. The 22 year-old Reka Urban was crowned the 2009 Miss Plastic Hungary, a peculiar beauty pageant to promote the benefits of plastic surgery in the country. The plastic beauty queen, who was chosen because she represents “a perfect harmony of body and soul”, won an apartment in Budapest.
