Biden in Georgia

The vice-president of USA Joe Biden visited Georgia. At the beginning of his meeting with the Georgian president Mihail Saakashvili he said that he came to show that USA
support Georgia.
The visit of Biden is one year after the war between Georgia and Russia about South Osetia.
In an interview for „Washington Post”, Saakashvili asked USA to deliver to Georgia modern weapon.

In October 2008, Georgia initiated military operation in the separated South Osetia. During the bombing of Tshinvali,
civil citizens died. In response, the Russian army took the control over the region.
