China reacts hard to the support for Tibet

Every support which Europe demonstrates for Tibet causes the negative reaction of China.
This became clear last year when Beijing refused to participate in the high level summit of EU in Lyon, France, because of the intention of Nicolas Sarkozi to meet Dalai Lama.

One year before, China temporary canceled its relations with Germany after an informal
discussion betweemn Angela Merkel and Dalai Lama. To mitigate similar conflict, last year the British
prime minister Gordon Brown announced its meeting with Dalai Lama as "discussion of religious matter".
