A rocket attack on the NATO base near Kandahar in Afghanistan left four Bulgarians injured, during the visit of Bulgarian Defense Minister Nikolay Mladenov to the base.

The rocket exploded about 200 meters from the accommodation of Mladenov and the Bulgarian government delegation just before 22:00 on January 24.
